If you’re new to improv and “letting go” of all those rules and that little voice in your head that
frustrates you to get everything just so, this is the perfect opportunity for you to let loose within some
parameters – go crazy in a semi-controlled environment – while making a dent in your scrap bin!
You’ll have a blast sewing bits of scraps together (and whacking up “new” scraps to use!).
EVIE uses muslin foundation to stabilize your improv piecing. No paper to tear away! If you have some ugly old light-colored fabric in your stash you want to use instead of muslin, go for it! (just be sure that it won't show through your scraps.) We're leaving the foundation fabric IN the quilt.
