Wild Beauty Alaska

August 8 - 15, 2027

The Project

There’s a certain kind of beauty you only find in the wild — unexpected, bold, and impossible to ignore. That’s exactly what inspired this quilt.

Wild Beauty was created specifically for this Alaska cruise with one goal in mind: to give you a project that feels fresh, exciting, and deeply satisfying to make, while quietly expanding what you know you’re capable of.

This isn’t about struggling through complicated techniques.

It’s about learning smart, approachable methods that unlock new possibilities in your work.

Together, we’ll guide you through a design that looks intricate and striking, but is built from techniques that are absolutely within your reach:

  • Gentle curved piecing
  • Partial seams
  • Seminole piecing
  • Practical, usable color theory
  • A clear, repeatable approach to mixing prints with confidence

You won’t just finish a beautiful quilt. You’ll walk away with skills you’ll use again and again.

A Kit Unlike Any Other

We’re taking this experience further.

Each kit is completely pre-cut — every single piece prepared for you — so your time on the cruise is spent creating, not cutting.

But here’s where it gets special:

Your fabrics are thoughtfully curated, not pre-matched.

We’ve intentionally pulled prints from different designers, manufacturers, and style traditions — just like we do in our own work. The result is a kit that feels layered, dynamic, and full of life.

There’s a touch of mystery to it… but never chaos.

And as you sew, we’ll walk you through why each choice works; so you’re not just following along, you’re learning how to see.

How to combine prints.

How to balance color.

How to create movement and harmony in your quilts.

This is the part most quilters never get access to. And it changes everything.

Designed for Growth (and Joy!)

This experience is built to stretch you in the best way.

You’ll be supported, you’ll be guided, and you’ll have space to make it your own.

Want to swap a print or two with a friend? Go for it.

Want to lean into your own color instincts? We’re here for that.

Because the goal isn’t perfection.

It’s confidence.

It’s creative expansion.

It’s walking away from this cruise knowing you don’t just follow patterns… you understand them.

More Than a Project

This isn’t just a quilt you’ll make on a trip.

It’s a turning point in how you approach your work.

And paired with the backdrop of Alaska — its scale, its color, its raw beauty — this project becomes something even more meaningful.

Wild Beauty is about stepping outside the ordinary.

And realizing just how much more is possible for you.
