Confessions of a Quilter – #1

Confession Number One

The quilt on our bed came from Overstock(dot)com. Why? Because (a) I bought it before I became a quilter, (b) I haven’t had the time/energy/compulsion to make a king-sized quilt for our bed yet, and (c) What? I’m supposed to sleep under just a sheet?

I will someday make a king-sized quilt for our bed, but that day is not today. It isn’t tomorrow, either. I’m busy with other projects. This isn’t super high on my priority list.

Plus, this one is pretty cozy, if a little bland to look at.

Bed Quilt Confession
Let’s keep this between us, ok?

Now, I’m off to work on a quilt.

  1. Haha!!!! I also have a quilt on my bed that is from Pottery Barn. I rationalize it by saying I would never make a whole cloth quilt since it’s solid white.

    1. I am so embarrassed I somehow missed your comment until now! It happened with a few others, too.
Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone with my store-bought blasphemy. ?
